JR Technologies P.C.: Human Resources Manager
Περιγραφή:JR Technologies is looking for a Human Resources Manager for full and permanent employment in its Technology & Innovation Center in Chania. This position will lead the HR function by applying best-in-class HR principles around business planning, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, legal compliance, etc.

Job Description

- Working closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting company employees to understand and implement policies and procedures

- Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the company

- Liaising with a wide range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health & safety

- Recruiting staff (developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates, preparing and submitting paperwork for hiring)

- Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management; preparing staff handbooks

- Administering payroll and maintaining accuracy of personnel records and HRIS data with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.

- Ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations

- Analyzing and planning training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.

- Undertaking regular salary reviews and advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits

- Negotiating with staff and their representatives on issues relating to pay and conditions

- Developing in coordination with the Area Manager HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements

- Assisting and welcoming of new staff (assisting on relocation, delivering of orientation training)

- Responding to employee inquiries, issues and problems relating to compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, etc. and ensures timely and appropriate action.

Typical qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in Management or Social Studies, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.

- 3+ years of HR experience.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills required.

- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to influence key decision makers.

- Must be collaborative and diplomatic, able to build consensus.

- Must possess solid critical thinking/reasoning and demonstrate sound judgment.

- Effective communication and persuasive skills are required.

- Demonstrate very strong problem solving skills.

- Strong organizational skills highly detail oriented. Able to manage multiple large projects simultaneously.

- Current knowledge of employment-related legislation required.

- Strong computer skills - proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

- Very good English written and oral communication skills.

Desired qualifications

- Understanding of software development fundamentals.

- Post graduate degree in a relevant field.

- Experience with OrangeHRM.
