Accusonus is a start-up company focusing on innovative digital audio technologies.

Accusonus invents, designs and develops novel speech and music processing tools

for a number of diverse applications. Our offices are located in Patras, Greece.

Job description

We are looking for a DSP engineer to join the Accusonus team. This position requires

a highly skilled engineer with a deep understanding of speech processing, as well as

audio and acoustics, coupled with an appreciation of real-world applications and the

restriction they impose. Your work will focus on researching and developing novel

technologies for speech processing and enhancement in smartphones, tablets and

other smart devices (e.g. Smart TVs). You should be able to follow the intense time

schedules of a start-up company, be willing to travel and be enthusiastic about audio

technology.

Required skills

• PhD (or MSc) on digital signal processing for speech applications

• Solid background in speech enhancement methods

• Experience with real-time speech applications

• Excellent MATLAB skills

• Good programming skills (C/C++)

• Fluent in English (oral and written)

• Proven ability to create fundamentally new signal processing technologies

• Strong personal interest in learning, researching, and creating new

technologies with high commercial impact

• Independent, self-motivated and requiring minimal supervision

• Ability to multi-task in a variety of disciplines and application areas

• Ability to guide and assist members of the group on technical issues

• Excellent technical writing skills

• Excellent communications and organizational skills

• Excellent team player
