| Περιγραφή: | Intracom Defense Electronics is currently seeking a Software Engineer for GIS- Based Systems. The position requires the design and development of software for GIS based applications. The successful candidate will participate in the complete software development cycle from requirements elaboration to design & implementation. Required Skills: •University degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Informatics •At least three years of experience in software development for GIS based applications •Good understanding of the geospatial application domain •Good understanding and use of object-oriented design & development techniques •Strong proficiency in C/C++ •Knowledge of RDBM systems •Fluent use of English language Desired Skills: •Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN • Knowledge of one or more of the following will be considered a plus: - Web based GIS applications and related OCG standards - HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, JEE / servlets, SOAP, REST, WebSocket - Other programming languages e.g. Java or C# - NoSQL database systems |
