We are looking for an enthusiastic professional with a technical background to join the Learning & Development team. You will be leading our L&D offering in Athens and will support our colleagues’ technical development needs as well as provide input, ideas and suggestions to help us grow our soft skills solutions.

Reporting directly to the Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining L&D processes and procedures in our Athens office. You will be provided with support from the L&D team members on how to approach learning and how to achieve your goals via blended development.
These are just some of the tasks you will be working on:
Deliver On-Boarding and induction programmes to new Athens employees
Provide training and coaching to new starters
Support ongoing improvements of the induction programme in partnership with relevant stakeholders
Identify the most appropriate medium for technical training
Design courses and on-demand learning material
Facilitate and deliver courses to specific target audiences
Monitor and measure the impact of the training delivered
Monitor and handle technical training requests organisation wide
Advise managers on all technical training areas
Identify specific learning needs that exist within teams and for individuals
The Day to Day Responsibilities will be to:
Impact people’s careers and development throughout the organisation
Teach some of the most talented developers in the gaming industry
Take care of and administer a substantial part of the Technical L&D solutions organisation wide
Play an important part of the development of the L&D team
As an IT Technical Training & Development Specialist you’ll be able to demonstrate:
A solid background (ideally on PhD level) in IT.
Experience designing and developing engaging Learning and Development workshops or courses.
Some knowledge of L&D principles, including action learning and learning styles.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
The ability to manage your own time and work accurately to deadlines.
A passion for sharing knowledge and evangelise our technologies.
It would also be great to see these skills/experiences as well:
Experience working with some of the tools widely used at OpenBet like TCL, SQL, GIT, Docker, etc.
A working knowledge of Linux or any UNIX OS as well as MS Windows
Training qualification(s), a plus but not essential
An interest to continually update one’s knowledge via internal & external sources
Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems, a plus but not essential
