R&D is operating in Athens, Greece, under a Myrmex local branch office.

We currently seek talented and self-motivated Software Engineers of all levels (Junior to Senior). As a Software Engineer in our R&D team you will participate and significantly contribute in the design and development of tomorrow’s material handling robotics systems.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

* BS/MS in Software Engineering or related fields

* Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Greek and English

* Proficiency in developing multi-threaded OOP software with C++ in Linux environment

* Experience in CMake and Boost libraries / STL (C++11)

* Thorough understanding of networking protocols and technologies

* Computer science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience for Senior Engineers:

Proven ability to design, implement, and test software in a fast-paced environment as well as 5+ years of practical and theoretical knowledge of at least four of the following concepts:

* Distributed systems and parallel processing

* AI related topics, algorithmic modeling and optimization

* Real-time operating systems

* Automated build and test and / or test driven development

* Qt Framework

* Python

* Successful open source projects
