About the Role

We are seeking Applications Developers to join our team at the Department of Consulting Excellence. This is a full time role and a minimum of two years prior work experience is required. As a Developer you will be expected to leverage your technology of choice and contribute in the architecture and final delivery of Line of Business applications that address our clients’ needs. You will be working in small teams of 3 to 5 consultants that bring together business and technology skills as are required for the creation of our solutions. As a member of our consulting team you will be based at the RF Business Hub located in the city of Patras close to all the amenities that the commercial center has to offer. Depending on the requirements of your project work some travel both within the country and abroad should be expected.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• A minimum of two years demonstrable experience in the development and delivery of Line of Business Applications of moderate to high complexity;
• Very high levels of literacy in at least one of the following intermediate languages: C#, Java, C++;
• Good knowledge of relational databases and in particular the SQL;
• High levels of literacy in html and JavaScript;
• A degree in Information Technology or a related discipline from an upper tier Greek or International University (graded at least GR:6,5/10 – GPA:3.5/4, UK:2:1, or be at the top 15% of your graduation year);
• Exceptional analytical skills and very strong problem solving ability;
• Strong communication and team work skills;
• Strong organizational skills paired with the ability to work largely independently;
• High intellectual curiosity and the tendency to challenge conventional thinking; and
• Fluency in both written and spoken Greek and English.

The following qualifications are not required but will be appreciated:

• Experience in maintaining databases of moderate to high complexity;
• Literacy in PhP or Ruby;
• Experience in the technology department of a business operating in one of our industries of focus;
• A postgraduate degree in IT or a related discipline from a top tier University; and
• Experience working as a management consultant with a top tier firm.
