Description

The role is responsible for the end-to-end bid process to support sales efforts in maximizing business results. The Pre-Sales & Bidding Advisor actively oversees the efficient and compliant execution of all tendering activities in accordance with procurement standards and regulations as well as the company’s bidding & proposal procedures & processes, track their status and execution ensuring alignment to tender requirements.

Key accountabilities

  • Supervises the tenders process from the pre‐qualification stage through to the final bid submission, ensuring the development of compelling offers in a timely manner and aligned with the customer and business objectives.
  • Coordinates and reviews / edits input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, finance, commercial, legal and delivery teams to ensure tender documents are responsive to client requirements and in compliance with company objectives.
  • Works closely with the sales team in order to ensure the proposed pricing is in line with the overall win price and gain executive management approval for customer submissions.
  • Develops and documents proposal templates in line with company branding to support automation initiatives and process improvement with the objectives to improve turnaround time and win rate.
  • Utilizes internal tools and systems to prepare reports and conduct post implementation review for each proposal submission.
  • Updates and registers opportunities on ongoing tendering and evaluation activities for tracking and pipeline management purposes.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

  • University degree in IT, Computer Science/ Engineering, Business or related domain
  • Postgraduate degree in the relevant field

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of work experience within Bidding/Proposals Management including document editing/production and process management
  • Working experience in an information security services company will be an advantage

 

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Sound business acumen, cybersecurity market awareness and a conceptual grasp of technology, commercials and services is required
  • Knowledge of the RFx (Request for Proposals/Quotations/Information) generation process
  • Knowledge of tendering, public/private procurement and contracting principles
  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment, self-motivated and work under minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to form effective relationships under time pressure
  • Strong organisational skills, including ability to prioritize workload when working on multiple tenders/projects
  • Scrupulous eye for detail and high regard for accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English language
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Advanced MS Office user
