Packaging Expert, Greek Operations
(Ref: PEGO)
The position holder will report operationally to the Product Transfer & Development Director based in Greece and functionally to the Projects & Programs Director based in France. He/she will be responsible for:
- Providing technical packaging expertise to the Greek operations for both pharmaceutical and cosmetics products in the following areas: quality, product transfer, cost reduction programs
- Generating and proactively proposing packaging concepts to customers
- Participating in European packaging projects
- Monitoring cost parameters and market trends
- Analyzing customer needs & making recommendations on new products
- Developing appropriate tools and action plans aiming to solve existing issues in relation with packaging components specifications
- Animating and developing packaging knowledge and expertise of production packaging engineers
Prerequisites:
- University Degree in Engineering or Chemistry
- Master Degree in Material Science or Packaging technologies
- At least 5-7 years of experience in packaging relevant position in an manufacturing environment & international background
- Extensive knowledge of packaging technologies and experience in project management
- PC literacy (knowledge of SAP preferred)
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of French will be considered an asset
- High business and finance understanding
- Achievement oriented, with analytical capability
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a demanding environment
