We are a small international team of innovators that helps organizations in complex business and government environments globally make better decisions through robust simulations and advanced treatment of data. We are unique in creating and deploying comprehensive models for strategic visibility and control.

We are looking for a talented C++ programmer based in the Athens area to work remotely with a geographically distributed R&D team on a cutting-edge library of statistical analysis and simulation algorithms.

Initially we offer a three-month contract subject to renewal or upgrade, based on assessing the success of the collaboration and the quality of the deliverables at the end of the initial term.

• develop a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for MS Windows environment
• rapidly develop prototypes in conjunction with incomplete/experimental C++ code
• contribute to the extension, testing, and optimization of the library
• contribute to the development of a modular and extensible OO system foundation
• report frequently and regularly on progress

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

• B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science
• no less than 2 years of relevant work experience in OO programming in C++
• ability to work with complex, incomplete, and undocumented code
• autonomy and ability to work on complex algorithms with minimal direction
• communication skills and respect for deadlines
• ability to work from own space without technical support
