One of the leading companies in the telecommunications field is looking for a MW TRANSMISSION ENGINEER to join the telecommunications engineers’ team in our office in Athens, Greece.

Main responsibilities:

• MW link Design
  • Path profile analysis
  • Line of Sight clearance verification
  • System design – Equipment determination
  • Link budget analysis
  • Frequency plan - Interference analysis.
• MW link equipment list determination
• 2nd Level Support services
  • Operation
  • Problem management and escalation
  • Configuration management
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Attend and perform all related activities during swaps or new link activation

Requirements:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or in Sciences with strong Telecommunications emphasis, or equivalent
• Excellent technical understanding of MW transmission properties
• Experience in MW link planning tools especially in Atoll or Pathloss
• Fluent in English
• Excellent use of MS Office
• Experience in MW link activation or swap will be an asset
• Experience in network implementation / integration and support will be an asset.
