IT Support Technician
(Code: ST-0612)
The successful candidate will be reporting to the IT Systems Analyst of Company’s IT & Toll Systems Department and will provide a wide range of his/her professional support in the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of a mixed Linux and Windows IT infrastructure based at Afidnes Toll Station area. More specifically, among others, he/she will be responsible for:
- Supporting the installation, administration and maintenance of IT systems based on the motorway, (Software and Hardware)
- Identifying possible hardware or software problems and replace defective components
- Installing firewalls and administering day to day operation and configuration of local and wide area of networks and servers.
- Providing first line support to all company’s users on systems use
- Providing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting/repair on Company’s IT Infrastructure on the motorway.
- Performing other duties related to the operations of the IT & Toll Systems department
Professional attributes
- Technical Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science and/or Networking
- 3 years of relevant experience in installation and configuration of Windows Servers
- Excellent knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux, Windows 7, Windows XP)
- CCNA certification will be considered an asset
- Very good knowledge of Windows networking technologies
- Advanced MS Office user
- Excellent command of Greek and English language
