HEAD OF LABORATORY AND NEW APPLICATIONS ENGINEER
(Ref.No. RD11-04)

Main responsibilities

  • Have the overall responsibility of the Laboratory of Perlite, one of our mineral products, with the aim to satisfy in a timely and accurate way the internal needs of the Perlite Division as well as the customer requirements
  • Design, organize, execute and evaluate applied research and development projects either in an independent way or in the framework of European research programs, in order to develop new or improved products and processes of Perlite
  • Support technically the Production and Marketing Departments in order to help them accomplishing their own projects and goals

    Candidate Profile

  • University Degree of Metallurgical or Chemical engineer with a PhD in the field of Minerals’ Processing or relevant working experience of 5 years in the same Research field
  • Working experience in the area of Analytical procedures/ equipment relevant to the above field
  • Relevant experience in international R&D projects management will be considered a plus
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of German language will be considered a plus
  • Good analytical thinking, self motivation and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
