FAMAR S.A., a leading international service provider in health care industry with activities both in the Greek and the Western European area, seeks to recruit for its Health & Beauty Plant in Avlona:

Supply Chain Manager (Ref: SCM)

The position holder will report to the Head of Business Unit of the H&B Plant and will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the Supply Chain activities on Business Unit level (Logistics, Production Planning, Procurement)
  • Directing the communication process concerning other links of the Supply Chain outside the Business Unit level (suppliers - customers - contractors).
  • Supervising the co-operation with the other departments of the Business Unit (Production, Financial, Technical, Quality, R&D), according to the global business strategy
  • Evaluating the current organization and management, concerning the proposed improvements

    Prerequisites:

  • University Degree in Logistics/ Engineering/ Chemistry or equivalent (postgraduate studies will be considered a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant position preferably in an industrial environment
  • High level of initiative, self motivation and team spirit
  • Ability to handle complexity and work under pressure
  • Very good communication skills and ability to cooperate effectively with others across levels
  • Fluency in English, (knowledge of French language considered as an asset) Computer literacy
