As an Software Developer for the OpenScape Voice Product, the leading, best in class Enterprise VoIP software. The Engineer to be hired will become a member of the local Center of Competence. The job applicant should fit the profile of a highly motivated IT professional with a strong sense of responsibility. This individual will work in a high-standards multinational environment with both local and global teams and will have the opportunity to work in innovative, challenging projects. Responsible for work across all sub-disciplines of software and systems engineering, including: software design, requirements write-up, implementing - unit testing - debugging and integrating code of high complexity, software performance measurement, product documentation authoring and performing software maintenance

Strongly required skills:

BSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering (MSc considered as an advantage)

Strong quality orientation, analytical skills and creativity

Ability to accurately estimate work tasks and meet aggressive schedules

Very good communication, presentation and team work skills in both Greek and English

High self-motivation and self-organization

Team player qualities

Very good programming/debugging skills in a high level language, preferably C++

Very good Knowledge of OOP, UML and Design patterns

Good knowledge of Unix/Linux OS shell scripting

Knowledge of SOAP & REST Web services architectural model

Knowledge of Internet technologies (HTTP, TCP/IP, XML, SSL)

Knowledge of networking and VoIP communications

Understanding of the software lifecycle process

Technical specifications, documentation and reports authoring
