We are looking for a talented C++ and C# programmer in the Athens area, to work remotely with a geographically distributed R&D team on a cutting-edge library of statistical analysis and simulation algorithms.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• work with a C++ library and develop a Graphical User Interface (GUI), initially for MS Windows in C# .NET
• rapidly develop working prototypes starting from incomplete or experimental C++ code
• contribute to the extension, testing, and optimization of the C++ library
• contribute to the development of a modular and extensible OO system foundation
• report frequently and regularly on progress

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

• B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science
• no less than 3 years of relevant professional experience in OO programming in C++
• practical experience with .NET C#
• ability to work with complex, incomplete, and undocumented code
• autonomy and ability to work on complex algorithms with minimal direction
• ability to work from your own space without technical support
• communication skills and respect for deadlines

• development for Mac and Linux environments
• code/DB interfacing
• massive data and statistical analysis
