At the moment we are looking for a:

Loading and Processing Engineer

In Fokis, Greece

Offering a great opportunity to talented and motivated recent graduates, the Program provides graduates with rich and diverse experiences in a multicultural and challenging environment.

The aim of the Graduates Program is to recruit top-performing graduates, enabling them to accelerate their career and become part of the next generation of the key contributors of Imerys.

The Program runs for 2 years (24 months) consisting of two 12-month rotations. During this period, Graduates will hold two different positions. All graduates are hired on permanent full-time basis.

At the end of the 2 year program, graduates will be placed in a new challenging role. The program is open to fresh graduates and to graduates with up to 3 years of experience.

Are you ready to take the challenge?

The role of the Loading and Processing Engineer is to actively coordinate the effective daily operation and lead improvement projects in Itea’s loading and processing site.

More specifically you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that we always apply Imerys Standards regarding Safety, in collaboration with the Shift Supervisors
• Management of Shift Supervisors and personnel for effective daily operation, according to the targets of the Department
• Follow up action plans and ensuring operation’s excellence based on KPIs
• Leading various operational and/or performance improvement short – term projects
• Coordinating operation according to mobile equipment availability and collaborating with the maintenance department on periodical and ad-hoc mobile or stationary equipment maintenance
• Collaborating with Imerys Shipping Dept. and shipping agents to coordinate effectively personnel and equipment

Your profile:

• MSc in Engineering (Mining, Chemical, Processing, Mineral Resources)
• Postgraduate degree in Engineering or related fields, will be an advantage
• Fluent knowledge of Greek and English are compulsory
• Other language skills will be considered as a plus
• Advanced computer skills (Office Suite)
• Up to max 3 years of experience in people management and/or Engineering projects
• Project management skills
• Urge for safety is a must
• Strong Communication & Collaboration
• Results oriented
• Innovative thinking
