R&D is operating in Athens, Greece, under a Myrmex local branch office.

We currently seek talented and self-motivated Robotics Engineers of all levels (Junior to Senior). As a Robotics Engineer in our R&D team you will participate and significantly contribute in the design and development of components for tomorrow’s material handling robotics applications.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

* BS/MS in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or related fields)

* Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Greek and English

* Proficiency in developing multi-threaded OOP software with C++ in Linux environment

* Experience in CMake and Boost libraries / STL (C++11)

* Thorough understanding of networking protocols and technologies

* Ability to perform general hands-on troubleshooting of mechatronic systems

* Familiarity with Robotics and Mechatronics applications

* Good understanding of forward and inverse kinematics

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience for Senior Engineers:

Proven ability to design, implement, and test software in a fast-paced environment as well as 5+ years of practical and theoretical knowledge of at least four of the following concepts:

* ROS (Robot Operating System), or similar frameworks/tools

* AI related topics, algorithmic modeling and optimization

* Control of multi degree of freedom robotic chains

* Kinematic, and Dynamics of robotic manipulators

* Trajectory generation and path planning

* Machine vision and / or Visual servoing

* Real-time operating systems
