The research fellow will have to build and test devices able to monitor and control safety in a logistics system with the introduction of automated functions for the protection of the operators on the ground that are particularly exposed to risks during container and cargo handling operations. In particular, devices based on RFID antennas and GPS systems capable of sending location data according to the requested frequencies from a central control and to receive and implement alarms according to different methods will have to be designed.
