Functions
You will:
* Be the technical lead, setting the direction for the system electronics.
* Lead a team of electronics engineers and technicians.
* Organise and chair, meetings and reviews.
* Develop and execute plans for development, production, installation and commissioning of the modular converter controls electronics systems.
* Report on progress, monitoring and solving issues as they arise.
Qualification required
Master's degree in the field of electronics or electricity (or equivalent).
Experience and competencies
The experience required for this post is:
* System Level Design and Engineering: designing and developing system solutions from user requirements down through to bit level implementation.
* Electronics Design and Engineering: developing reliable and robust electronic modules.
* Programmable Logic Design: design and realisation of electronics based on Field-Programmable Gate Arrays and/or Programmable Logic Devices.
* Electronic Engineering Project Leadership: proven experience in leading an engineering team and delivering engineering solutions.
The technical competencies required for this post are:
* Design of programmable logic devices in VHDL
* Design of digital electronics.
* Design and development of electronic modules.
* Project management.
The language competencies required are:
* English or French: spoken and written, with the ability to draw-up technical specifications and/or scientific reports, and/or to make oral presentations. The ability to understand and speak the other language in professional contexts would be an advantage.
