As a partner in the Science Foundation Ireland funded Strategic Research Cluster in Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems (http://erc.ucd.ie/sees/), the Dynamics and Control Research Group at NUI Maynooth is seeking to hire a PhD student and Postdoctoral Researcher to undertake research on modelling and control of aggregated smart-load dynamics.

The PhD position is for 4 years and provides for a tax-free stipend of 18,000 Euro per year and payment of PhD fees. The postdoctoral research position is initially available for 1 year and attracts a starting salary of ?37,750.
