JOB POSITION

The Technical University of Catalonia-UPC-BarcelonaTECH offers a pre-doctorate position for in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and Body Area Networks (BAN) for healthcare applications. A 3-year PhD fellowship will be offered by the university. Applicants must hold an MSc degree in electrical engineering or related fields. Fluency in English is appreciated.

The selected candidate will be working in the analysis, design and implementation of protocols and algorithms for healthcare applications, within the scope of the WSN4QoL project.

ELIGIBILITY

• The applicant must, at the time of selection, be in possession of an MSc in electrical engineering or related fields.

• The applicant should not be in possession of a doctoral degree but should have the qualifications to embark on a PhD program.

DURATION AND BENEFITS

The fellowship is awarded for a period of 3 years.The researchers will have a regular contract with the same rights and obligations as any other staff member of the host institution. Candidates should start within 2 months of the acceptance of the fellowship.
