We are currently looking for a dedicated

Unified Messaging Senior Specialist (m/f)

who can join us in Frankfurt as soon as possible.

You create technical concepts and solutions in the area of unified messaging to provide services for systems or users of the language and data networks of Deutsche Bahn AG. Your tasks also include analysing, coordinating and defining specific product requirements in the messaging environment together with the Service Management/Customer and Delivery Management departments at DB Systel. You are also responsible for creating and further developing technical documentation for the messaging system components, such as concept and service descriptions as well as test specifications. You coordinate the technical documents internally and with our vendors. In addition, you conduct project and status meetings, including any necessary preparation and follow-up activities as well as documentation. Your responsibilities also include supervising small project teams independently, as well as creating test specifications and acceptance procedures for carrying out function and release tests. Furthermore, you carry out system tests in a development and test environment, and you work as part of an established team of system experts. Taking on related areas of responsibility rounds off your challenging field of activities.

Your profile:

• Completed course of studies in telecommunications/IT or a comparable qualification and extensive professional experience in the area of unified messaging
• Demonstrable market and system knowledge in the area of unified messaging 

• Demonstrable knowledge (certification) of the Kofax Communication Server (KCS) system is preferred
• Practical experience in designing, testing and accepting messaging solutions
• Knowledge of the system technologies, protocols and standards used in LAN and WAN data networks
• Knowledge of voice-over-IP systems
• Good command of written and spoken English
• German skills preferred
• PC skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project/Visio, Lotus Notes)
• Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently and show initiative
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Structured approach to work and methodology
• A high degree of motivation and an ability to cope under pressure
• An ability to document complex relationships in a transparent manner
• Leadership skills
