We are currently looking for a dedicated

Unified Communications Expert (m/f)

who can join us in Frankfurt as soon as possible.

You are responsible for creating technical concepts and solutions in the area of unified communication (voicemail, CTI, IVR, voice conferencing, Web conferencing, message routing) on the basis of voice over IP for providing services to users of the voice network of Deutsche Bahn AG. Your tasks here include analysing, coordinating and defining specific product requirements with the services and product management of DB Systel. You create and maintain technical documents such as concept and service descriptions, test specifications and cost considerations. You assume responsibility for conducting project and status meetings, and you create test specifications and acceptance procedures for carrying out function and release tests. Carrying out system tests in a development and test environment, working as part of an established team of VoIP system experts and independently taking on areas of responsibility round off your challenging field of activities.

Your profile:

• University degree in telecommunications, physics or IT, or a comparable qualification and extensive professional experience in the area of designing, developing and implementing unified communication

• At least five years of professional experience in the area of Unified Communications, ideally as a system or test engineer with a system manufacturer or network provider
• Market and system knowledge in the area of unified communication (voicemail, CTI, IVR, voice conferencing, Web conferencing, message routing)
• MRS server certification from Cycos/Siemens preferred
• Market and system knowledge of Cisco VoIP/collaboration products, as well as practical experience in testing and acceptance
• System knowledge of the coupling of Cisco/Cycos components to Lotus Sametime/MS Exchange
• Good command of written and spoken English
• German skills preferred
• PC skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project/Visio, Lotus Notes)
• An ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative, assertiveness, and good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Structured approach to work and methodology
• Leadership experience
• A high degree of motivation and an ability to cope under pressure
• Acting in the interests of the company and the customer
• A high degree of flexibility and a willingness to learn
• A willingness to take on special tasks
