Neas Energy is expanding our gas trading activities and we are looking for a Portfolio Manager to help grow our gas trading business.
The Position:
You will be part of a team of highly qualified colleagues with experience from the gas market.
Your functions and responsibilities as a Portfolio Manager will include:
- Daily optimization of the value of the portfolio of gas assets
- Delta hedging of imbedded options in gas storage and transport capacity under management
- Hedging strategy for gas positions
- Sending a daily portfolio action plan for traders
- Daily engagement with other members of teams across trading, both written and verbal
- Analyzing markets for transport capacities and storage capacities
Expectations for the position:
You will need to be able to cope in a dynamic environment with rapid business growth and to make decisions in a pressured environment. The position offers a high degree of independence, and it is important that you are able to handle several tasks at the same time – also when facing many deadlines.
We expect:
- Experience from similar position
- MSc in Economics, Finance or similar
- Strong analytical skills
- Expert in option theory and dynamic programming
- Programming in VBA, Matlab etc.
- Strong team player
- Self-motivated, independent-thinker
- Good IT skills, preferably intermediate to advanced
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
