The core of Aker Solutions’ Subsea division is located at Tranby Technology & Manufacturing Centre (TTMC) in Lier, where the Tree Group is a leading manufacturer of Subsea Trees and associated equipment for the global oil and gas industry with sites throughout the world. We engineer, develop, qualify, produce and deliver the next generation of subsea technology. We are currently looking for new talent who can strengthen our team and support the organization.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Take the lead on strengthen the quality in processes and excellence in performance in cooperation with the management team
- Responsible for meeting our goals and quality objectives together with local and regional management.
- Personell and budget responsible for the department
- Develop the Quality Control function in workshop and strengthen the competence level for the employees
- Follow up established KPI, perform analysis and identify areas for improvement and opportunities.
- Monitor the quality performance and implement local quality improvement program in cooperation with internal customers.
- NCR reporting and follow-up deviation.
- Participation in the quality network within the region.
- Development of the operation system, local procedures in alignment with global and regional requirements
- Ensure maintenance of management certificates
- Facilitate regular management reviews
- Perform internal audits and support with audit to our key suppliers. Conduct investigations and propose measures for improvement.
Qualifications & personal attributes
- Solid experiences from manufacturing and production environment, preferable the oil and gas sector.
- BSc/MSc education level.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing
- 5–10 years relevant experience
- Strong leadership skills and managerial experience
- Proactive and engaged attitude
- Certified auditor
- Familiar with ISO and API standard
- High workload capacity and ability to work effectively
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
