Your responsibilities
in this manufacturing technology position you will develop thorough knowledge of the PET film manufacturing lines and down-stream processing equipment. Within the scope of your assignment
- you will assure the daily slitting process follow-up covering quality and productivity,
- participate in new process and technology developments linked to new products,
- develop and implement standard operating conditions for the various products,
- perform reliability studies on critical equipment,
- assist Maintenance and Operations in effective trouble shooting,
- participate in various efforts to increase the productivity and energy efficiency of our slitting area.
Qualifications
- Bachelor / Master in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering (professional experience is considered as an advantage)
- Broad and genuine interest in technology
- Conceptual & analytical thinking, creativity
- Self-starter and initiative/ interdisciplinary team work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English, French and Luxembourgish are considered as a plus
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing is considered as an advantage
- Basic knowledge of IT tools such as MS-Office
