Job description
We are looking for a Senior Designer for Trappes Research and Development Center in Automotive Lighting Business Line.
The candidate will be in charge of product design and report to Mechanical Manager, the main missions will include :
- Coordinate and manage activities of technical design.
- Define the « sections de principe » from functional specifications (internal AL and customer specifications).
- Insure that various technical problems linked to the design of mechanical organs, plastics, methods and processes of injection are taking into account.
- Respect drawing rules in the 3D creation and associated plans following the CAO agreements defined for the projects.
- Distribute and oversee the work of Designers.
- Follow the processes of quality management system on the scope of its work.
- Insure the respect of deadlines imposed for the project for design.
- Report problems to the Project leader and to the Development Manager.
Requirements
- BTS in Industrial Design or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CAO plastic parts in automotive industry and more exactly in the design of plastic parts.
- Minimum 2 projects realised as Designer.
- You possess a good representation of forms in the space and you control the software of CAO Catia V5.
