The Position
Mission:
The SW Requirements Engineer creates, defines, designs and / or supports the creation of the requirements and specifications on the different levels and ensures consistency across different levels within development organization and in collaboration with LCT and regions, incobas infinity project following Roche GPS standards and procedures.
Main tasks and duties:
- Support actively good spirit and collaboration within the team and the entire organization
- Based on the product requirements, define and document the software requirements of the software project.
- Structure the software requirements into levels of different granularity down to the granularity that allows the software requirements to be implemented by software development.
- Represent requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or scenarios, where appropriate.
- Ensure that the software requirements are clear, complete, distinct and without contradictions.
- Ensure the vertical traceability from the product requirements down to the most detailed level of software requirements.
- Document the software requirements according to Roche requirement management guidelines.
- Manage changes to software requirements according to Roche change management guidelines.
- Resolve any requirement issue found by changing existing or adding new requirements.
- Support the software project processes on any questions about software requirements.
- Cooperate with project requirement management and all stakeholders within the software project.
- Supports the Risks Management regarding criticality rating of requirements.
- Define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements.
- Input for improvement areas for the requirements management process
Additional tasks, duties and responsibilities:
- Support the Requirements management plan
- Support the requirements change management process
- Enter, manipulate, and report on requirements stored in a requirements management tool (HP Quality Center)
- Define requirement attributes and facilitate their use throughout the project.
- Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project.
- Manage changes to baselined requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools.
- Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of a requirements process.
- Assist with the development of the organization’s requirements engineering policies, procedures, and tools.
- Implement ways to reuse requirements across projects.
- Organize and facilitate requirements (prioritization) meetings in accordance with the Product Owner and Project Team.
- Organize and facilitate peer reviews
- Ensures consistency of structure in the tool
- Management of access rights of the requirement management tool
- Ensure timely availability of milestone requirements documentation
- To permanently optimize processes to increase quality and efficiency standards.

- Good level of English written and spoken. (Advance Level or similar)
- Good level of Spanish written and spoken will be also considered.

Must Have:
- He/She has to have proved experience in requirements engineering in IT projects
- He/She has to know the SCRUM methodology
- He/She has to have a degree in healthcare sector
- Experience working in IT development project within a regulated environment.
Highly Considered:
- Better if he/she has a technical or a clinical profile
- Experience in Laboratory Sample Workflows.
- Experience with a Laboratory Information System or Lab Middleware
- Experience in IT UML requirements definition (Use Cases)
