Job Description The sales manager Europe has the first line contact with the European customer basis, and targets growing revenues and solid profitability in the European market. He/She structures and manages the multi-layered relationship with the customers. He supports the strategic and budgetary planning of the business line. Main reponsibilities - Manages existing customer base to secure and grow business. This includes negotiation and managing of sales contracts. -Lead generation and follow-up to grow the customer base in line with the Business Line strategy. This includes the management of a sales pipeline, and the development of a European distributor network. - Tracks and optimizes the profitability of the different product lines (eg through product segmentation, development of price strategies, …). - Offers guidance to the sales back-office assuring the correct and timely processing and follow-up of sales quotations and the correct and timely execution of sales and raw material purchasing contracts. Supports the interaction between sales office and the wider team. - Contributes to the definition of the commercial strategy and budget planning. - Contributes to the definition and execution of the marketing communication. - Reports on progress against budget. This includes the development of follow-up and reporting systems, allowing for an accurate view on sales performance.
