This position encompasses responsibility to advise and drive strategy for High Availability IT Infrastructure Job Description Development of a High Availability IT infrastructure architecture strategy in response to strategic requirements Creation, documentation and verification of strategic requirements for the use of IT in the business Standardising group infrastructure architecture and develop the principles and roadmaps in support of the enterprise architecture. Promoting and supporting the establishment and embedding of best practice in the architecture development processes. Assesses impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycles and end-user capabilities Supporting secure communication methods and infrastructure relating to data technologies and maintaining the environment based around WAN, data and ISP platforms Required Skills & Abilities Expert in designing secure, reliable, supportable, and sustainable computing solutions with the end-user in mind Experienced in exploitation of systems architectural modelling techniques Experienced in ITIL processes Proven track record of resolving highly complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative Requirements Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Information Technology discipline or closely related technical field. The successful candidate is likely to have an information services background with a proven track record of having in a similar role.
