Day to day business will require the successful candidate to: • Provide first level of support to end-users as well as deal with issues identified through the monitoring systems of the company, escalating issues as appropriate to 2nd level of support if cannot be resolved. • Ensure operating systems, firmware and applications remain current by applying updates and upgrades as they become available from vendors and after first testing them in a beta environment. • Monitor systems and applications to ensure availability and optimal operation in all cases, taking corrective action as and when required. • Monitor the environmental conditions, power systems, etc. within the company’s Data Center and rectify any factors which can have a negative effect to the company’s SLA (Service Level Agreement). • Manage user and email accounts An attractive remuneration package according to qualifications and experience, along with excellent potential for personal development and growth will be offered to the right candidate. |

| Qualifications required: | • University/college degree in Computing, preferably from UK or US University • Basic understanding of operating system networking principles • Prior experience, knowledge or active certifications of VMWare, Microsoft, Cisco, Linux, Symantec, Veeam and similar technologies will be considered an advantage |
| Other requirements: | • Good interpersonal and communicational skills in English, both verbal and writing • Hard and efficient worker, able to deliver under pressure in a multitasking and fast-paced environment without compromise on timelines, quality of work and service levels • Dependability and commitment • Team spirit • Self-initiative, self-motivation, self-discipline with excellent time and task management skills • Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem solving capabilities. • Adaptability and ability to learn quickly along with willingness for self-study in order to achieve professional certifications required • Willingness to work during out of normal office hours to carry out maintenance and other tasks, often with little or no advanced notice. |
