Key Responsibilities
Your main priority is to guarantee that the technical modification projects are delivered according to budget and specification and in due time.
Your responsibility will upon request be to initiate modification projects on our vessels, in order to meet the needs of our clients. You will be leading the entire process of the project from the beginning until after completion when it is handed over to the operations department. You will define the project cooperating with external consultants as required, estimate the cost, having the budget responsibility and not least negotiate with ship yards and suppliers as required.
You will supervise the execution of your project as required in order to ensure that the agreed time, cost and quality of it is met. You also participate in FAT and sea trials as found necessary upon completion of the modification.
It is expected that you will keep yourself updated with the latest developments within your area of expertise - hereunder networking with other specialist within and outside the Group as required.
Who we are looking for
You are most likely experienced in heading up Maritime projects as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Chief Engineer or perhaps as a Naval Architect. You have a degree in marine engineering, naval architecture or similar and the desire to manage projects from start till finish. Either way we prefer candidates with experience within the Marine Offshore Industry.
You are focused on getting things done as an individual as well as a team member. Your communication skills are good and you master English verbally and in writing.
