Responsibilities

Provide and maintain project specific HSSE Plan, according to EC&R HSSE Management system requirements.
Compile, provide and maintain the „Schutz- und Sicherheitskonzept“, according BSH requirements.
Compile, provide and maintain the Project HSSE Plan for the Construction period.
Compile, provide and maintain an Emergency Response Plan for the construction period, incl. reporting lines into EC&R.
Compile, provide and maintain a Waste Management Plan for the construction period.
Establish and conduct necessary training for Clients rep. with regards to HSSE competences
Interface management with authorities in HSSE questions.
Interface management between different sub projects with regards to HSSE topics.
Make sure consent conditions regarding HSSE are fulfilled.
Implement Best Practice experience from other E.ON projects.

Check contracts regarding HSSE requirements

Cooperation with Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS).
Cooperation with Marine Coordinator/Work Vessel Coordinator.
Support prequalification of contractors according to HSSE procedures.
Attend in design review meetings, HAZID/HAZOP’s HSSE Consulting to contractors where applicable
Ensure check of contractors Risk Assessments/Method statements (RAMS)/HSE plans prior to commencement of work on site. Ensure that the Contractors work
according to the agreed RAMS/HSE Plans.
Ensure that adequate HSE audits are been carried out on site and/or at the contractors’ facilities.
Ensure that an adequate HSSE documentation is being provided (e.g. information about hazardous substances)
Participation in project meetings.
In construction phase, provide HSSE statistics to EC&R according to procedures.
Ensure that the project activities comply with applicable legal and other HSSE requirements. Ensure that any breaches or likely breaches are reported to Project
Manager, the respective development manager immediately.

Qualifications

University degree in engineering/safety (MSc or equivalent).
Qualification as a HSSE professional in accordance with German requirements (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit, Nebosh certificate or equivalent).
Training on hazards related to the Wind Industry such as crane work/lifting/fall prevention/machinery safety).
Electrical Safety Training (high and low voltage).
ISO 14001/OSHAS 18001 Auditor Training.
Training on behavioural based safety.
Incident investigation training/root cause analysis.
Outstanding offshore experience of wind projects (or similar experience from large scale infrastructure project in the energy sector or oil/gas).
Able and willing to travel regularly.
Proactive work attitude, highly communicative.
Fluent in German and English. Danish and Swedish language skills as an advantage.
