Profile : 
For one of our subsidiaries in the Netherlands (Altran B.V.) we are looking for Mechanical Design Engineers.

Working directly with clients in multidisciplinary teams, you will implement new design methodologies, perform engineering analysis and participate in /or lead design teams. You will be responsible for system- specifications, design, development, realisation and testing subsystems within the limits of specifications, costs and project planning.

Skills and experience: 
We are looking for consultants at every level of the career path, with at least:
- as from 0-2 year of industrial experience in Mechanical Product Design;
- MSc, and/or PhD degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering);
- Experience with high tech machinery, subsystems and or mechatronics;
- Experience with system specification, detailed design and testing;
- Experience with mechanical calculations (FEM or FEA);
- Good social- and communication skills; 
- Flexible, willing to travel; 
- Flexible and able to work autonomously; 
- Languages: fluent in English (Dutch is nice to have).

Furthermore it is appreciated, if you have some experience or knowledge:
- on Reliability, Design/ plastics, metals, metal machining and other manufacturing techniques, (electronics protection) coatings;
- in sensor designs;
- with vacuum or pressurized sensors and or system;
- of electronics; and
- affinity with Project management.

Education level : 4 universitaire jaar graad

Experience level : 2-5 jaar

Languages : Engels (Vloeiend)
