Junior Automation Engineers for NNE Pharmaplan

NNE Pharmaplan’s Automation department is looking to strengthen our team with junior automation engineers. 
The department works with consultancy, development, implementation and validation of automation solutions for the pharma and biotech industries. Production control systems based on thorough knowledge of our customers’ production processes is one of our core competencies. We implement our automation solutions based on standard system components from suppliers. When the market does not meet our customers’ expectations, we develop the missing components ourselves.

As our new Junior Automation engineer your main tasks will be:

  • Development, validation and maintenance of SCADA/PLC and/or process control systems. Interfaces to batch and MES systems are also a part of our tasks.
  • Consulting with relation to selection of the right automation solutions for our clients productions processes.
  • Active participation in our project teams which is based on our huge knowledge base and technology groups where we focus on personal development and knowledge sharing.

Our typical process area solutions are within fermentation, recovery and purification and related utility systems. Also work in the secondary projection facilities can be expected, such as formulation, filling, inspection, assembly, packaging, autoclaves, freeze drying etc.
You will be working in an active and challenging department with more than 40 colleagues.

NNE Pharmaplan serves a number of international customers and we intend to continue expanding our business abroad. Consequently, you could expect some travelling of shorter or longer duration. In addition, there may be opportunities of prolonged expatriation.
Lastly, the project based company culture allows you to interact with colleagues from different kinds of professional disciplines.

Your qualifications

  • Engineer, technician, computer scientist or similar degree.
  • Experience within automation and practical knowledge of SCADA and/or PCS systems is preferred.
  • Experience with some of the following control systems:  iFix/iHistorian/iBatch, Sattline, 800xA, DeltaV/Syncade, PCS7, PLC’s (Siemens, Allen Bradley) is preferred but not a must.
  • Experience of automation projects or production environments, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry us preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements GMP and GAMP in connection with pharmaceutical production is preferred.
