Lead Automation Engineer – Process Control Systems

Department description
You will join approx. 45 skilled and dedicated colleagues in our automation department. We work with consultancy, development, implementation and validation of automation solutions for the pharma and biotech industries. We work in projects and base our solutions on a deep understanding of our customers’ production processes – and if standard components can’t do the job, we invent our own. 
We are currently looking for curious experienced engineers with the wish of a fantastic place of employment as well as the ambition and motivation to lead the way in the development of the next decades world class automations solutions.

Consultant, developer and project team member
At NNE Pharmaplan you will gain responsibility and find challenges that are outstanding in the pharma and biotech industries. As Lead Automation Engineer your overall focus is to assist our customers in selection of the right automation solutions. You will work within a broad range of process areas such as fermentation, recovery and purification, freeze-drying, CIP/SIP and various utility systems. In addition, you could get a possibility for working with automation solutions for secondary production e.g. aseptic processing, packaging and assembly technologies.

Your primary tasks will be:

  • advising customers in their selection of automation solutions
  • design, construction and commissioning/qualification of process control systems
  • ongoing dialogue with project management to ensure timely action on project issues
  • ongoing optimisations of standards and guidelines

Solid experience within Process Control Systems
You have an engineering or technical degree and experience within automation projects or from production environments, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry where you have worked under GMP and GAMP regulatory requirements. Regardless of your background, you bring a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience within automation and practical knowledge of PCS or SCADA systems. This includes experience within a number of the following control systems:  Sattline, 800xA, DeltaV/Syncade, PCS7, iFix/iHistorian/iBatch, PLC’s (Siemens, Allen Bradley).

You have a personal drive and are passionate about your work, and your experience has taught you that there is a solution to even the toughest problems – and with your innovative mindset you can find it. Your good communication enables you to establish a close and constructive dialogue with colleagues and clients in projects related issues – and when you teach others in a broad variety of PCS setups and solutions. Proficiency in spoken and written Danish and English.
