The candidate we are looking for will work in the Powertrain & Electronics Department and will be in charge of coordinating the Engine Experimental activities for the development of different engine components/systems.
Main activities:
- Definition of vehicle and test bench testing activities regarding engine components and system development
- Development, management and validation of engine components and subcomponents in order to test the reliability of each component
- Coordination of Engine calibration, performance and combustion development
- Coordination of Engine Cooling measurement and definition on test bed and on car
- Coordination of NVH measurement on test bed and on the car
- Support to engineering activities and to the Engine Engineering & Testing release process
- Interface with R&D colleagues (Protoshop, Engine Management System), Audi referents and external supplier
Requirements:
- Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Degree
- 5 year experience in Mechatronics, Engine analysis, Simulation and Testing
- Good Knowledge of Test bench functionalities (Puma system, Cameo, Concerto, Inca)
- Good knowledge of Mechatronic systems and NVH
- Fluent English; German as a plus
- Analysis and problem solving skills
