An exciting new, and pivotal, opportunity for a Project Design Engineer to join our Domestic Energy Services team working on District Heating/De-centralised renewable energy projects.
As the Project Design Engineer you will be responsible for the technical design and project delivery of District Heating/De-centralised Energy projects for domestic dwellings. Ensuring that npower delivers technically and commercially robust projects (with the highest levels of customer satisfaction). You will deliver £10’s of millions of primary contract projects to agreed business and commercial objectives.
We are seeking a dynamic engineering professional to join the team. You must have an absolute passion for delivering renewable energy solutions, be an excellent communicator and have a full understanding of product development, project management and a commercial awareness that is able to influence business decisions.
Key skills and experience
- CEng or IEng
- Design and delivery of Space Heating, Hot Water, Ventilation (HVAC) and Renewable Energy Solutions.
- Experienced in a variety of relevant technical and commercial developmental areas in the retrospective District Heating Systems/De-centralised Energy industry.
- Technically expert in the carbon scoring of retrospective District Heating Systems/De-centralised Energy projects.
- Ability to manage and drive delivery of new projects (Prince2 preferred)
- Effective relationship management of internal and external suppliers
