Do you have expert clinical data management competencies and are you a strong people manager? We are looking for a new Manager for the Data Management Anchor (DM Anchor) to lead a team of dedicated experts supporting competency development, process optimization and knowledge sharing in a global environment. 

In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics.

About the department

The Clinical Systems & Data Management (CS&DM) function consists of approximately 120 people based in Denmark. In addition, the skill area covers approximately 170 people located in US and India. The DM anchor consists of 9 enthusiastic specialists and professionals who support the DM skill area, among other within training, process development, standards, and quality management. The DM Anchor is responsible for developing and maintaining state-of-the-art data management processes globally and for supporting data management operations within training and expert advice.

The job

You will as Manager of the DM Anchor be part of the CS&DM’s management team and you will be working with our headquarter DM organization, our global Clinical Data Management units, our customers in other areas of clinical operations e.g. Trial Management and Biostatistics, and our outsourcing partners. The manager of the DM anchor is responsible for driving and optimizing business processes as well as providing support during audits and inspections.

Qualifications

You have a master’s degree in the life sciences, pharmaceutical science, computer science, economics or similar. Additionally, you have a thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical business, a proven track record in managing cross-functional and international teams, and extensive experience from working with clinical data management. Furthermore, good English skills and strong cross-cultural cooperation are a necessity.
