Location: Delft (fulltime)
Your challenge!
As Process Control Engineer you investigate, develop, and supervise automation changes and modifications throughout operational areas. This includes modifications to existing process control or adding new processes to improve safety, reduce plant operational costs as well as improve product quality and efficiency.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain plant DCS infrastructure by identifying/correcting bad actors, conducting root cause failure analyses, meeting mechanical integrity requirements, and implementing preventive/predictive maintenance programs;
- Overall responsibility for plant DCS systems, including relevant documentation;
- Own maintenance and service contracts with third parties, insuring a high SHE standard, 24/7 intervention and service, and cost efficiency;
- Initiate small improvements by closing the loop on process control related work orders;
- Implements company-wide best practices and standards and is responsible for ensuring compliance at local site;
- Collaborates with manufacturing personnel in troubleshooting problems, provides guidance and training as appropriate to promote proper use of of equipment (hardware and software);
- Participates in cross-plant improvement teams and develops strong partnership with production.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Process Automation and Information Systems;
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment, and processes;
- Asset reliability and improvement techniques;
- Continuous improvement methodology (LEAN);
- Strong organization and prioritization skills;
- Passion for details.
