We are looking for you as a Data Analysis and Performance Engineer LMP1.
Tasks
- Reporting to the Chief Race Engineer
- Responsible for the analysis of vehicle and driver performance during Race and Test Events
- Assist the Race Engineer on preparation and analysis of vehicle and driver performance during race and test events programs
- Analysis of the Real-Time telemetry data for performance and safety
- Provide simulation and analysis support for the Race Engineer and Design Office to optimise vehicle set-up and guide vehicle development
- Develop simulation and analysis technics to help improve the teams understanding of the vehicle and driver behaviour
Requirements
- University degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or equivalent
- Several years of experience as a race, data or performance engineer in a high-level motor racing category
- Experience in programming and software packages for simulation and data analysis
- Firm understanding of vehicle dynamics and data analysis
- Very good knowledge of English
- Excellent team and communication skills
- Analytical, structured and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel frequently
