Job description

EDHEC’s Research Chair: ‘Impact of new technologies on food brand management’, sponsored by Bonduelle Group, is looking to hire a Research Engineer for a 3-day week position based in Lille and with attractive conditions, to help EDHEC faculty to conduct research projects in the fields of e-tail, digital, social media and mobile marketing.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Setting up a digital-oriented brand foresight strategy
  • Organising academic and professional literature reviews
  • Gathering data:
    Qualitative: hiring, interview processes, transcription, coding
    Quantitative: drawing up questionnaires, putting them online
    Experimental: drawing up a scenario, pre-tests
  • Taking part in data analysis and writing up communication memos
  • Disseminating research output (social media, newsletters, etc.)
  • Organising conferences and workshops

Profile/skills required

The successful candidate will have:

  • PhD or PhD (ABD).
  • Fluent English
  • Practical expertise in the field of digital marketing and/or information systems
  • A good grasp of statistics and modelling will be an advantage (Structural equation models, latent class models, Multi-level models, etc.)
  • Good textual and emotion analysis skills will also be an advantage

The successful applicant will join a team of marketing, strategy and information systems professors working on a range of questions related to the chair. He or she will be versatile in different areas of activity and will enjoy working with a team and on project management. In addition, the successful applicant must share EDHEC faculty’s business-oriented mindset, in line with EDHEC’s Research for Business positioning.
