Meet with business partners to understand, interpret and gather business requirements. Analyze business processes to document work flow. Analyze business needs and system constraints to define use cases, flow diagrams, functional and non-functional requirements. Participate and deliver to meet documentation standards for application platform level requirements organization and management. Determine extent of documentation and type of documents required for a given project, change request or business need. Analyze data to assess criticality, impact and urgency for unplanned incidents. Lead requirement workshops and brainstorm sessions with business stake holders and IT partners to define requirements. Participate in all phases of a project life cycle, from requirements gathering, user experience, front end design, identifying solutions, prioritizing requests, technical reviews, test scope, testing and UAT. Perform gap analysis and impact analysis to understand implications of system changes. Provide options (with pros and cons) for business needs to facilitate decision making. Review requirements and change requests to identify risks and gaps, prioritize business requests and coordinate with IT schedule to facilitate fulfillment. Provide quick response to business and service interruption incidents, provide assistance to associate business analysts to drive service interruption resolution whenever required.Minimum Qualifications (must have)Master's degree in Engineering Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field of study plus two years of Project Management, Software Testing, Technical Support or related experience. Employer also accepts a Bachelor's degree plus five years of experience as an equivalent alternative to a Master's degree plus two years of experience. Must have experience with: data management skills, including data analysis, data standardization, data clean up, and data consolidation; user workshops; defining requirements; writing use and business cases; designing workflow processes.
