The Grants Coordinator will work in the Donor Support Section (DSS). The role of DSS is to maintain funding relations with donors such as the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), and the UK Department for International Development (DfID), and to develop funding prospects with new donors. Furthermore, DSS constitutes an internal help-desk on donor related issues for all NRC departments and offices across the world.
The Grants Coordinator will be providing support to the Head of Section and the Institutional Donor Advisers, and therefore needs to be a team player, who is service oriented and has strong administrative skills
Job description
- Support the Institutional Donor Advisers (IDAs) with the administration of existing framework agreements. This includes assisting with drafting, coordinating and compiling information for overall organisational proposals and reports; creating templates and tracking systems, assisting with the consolidation, format check and language editing of annual plans and reports; and assisting with preparation for donor meetings.
- Support the IDAs with applications for new framework agreements, donor pre-qualification processes, and strategic stand-alone project proposals. This includes assistance with drafting, coordinating and compiling information; and assisting with format checks and language editing.
- Support the IDAs in their role as internal help-desks. This includes assisting with uploading Donor Information documents onto the NRC Intranet, and responding to enquiries related to annual plans and reports under the framework agreements.
- Be the administrative focal point for projects funded through the Telethon, Artistgalla and other non-earmarked NRC funds. This includes maintaining an overview of projects; issuing grant/guarantee letters; developing proposal and reporting templates, advising on donor requirements, ensuring proper filing; and to consolidate, format check and language edit reports to the donors, as relevant.
- Contribute to NRC initiatives on transparency. More concretely, this includes being responsible for establishing systems, coordinating input and uploading NRC project data into the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) registry.
- Develop administrative routines and provide other support in DSS, including being super user for NRC’s filing system, taking minutes in meetings, and compiling statistics.
