You will guide and support HelpAge's global and national level policy influencing on income security in older age.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in low and middle-income countries on issues relating to work and livelihoods or social protection. You will need a good understanding of current debates on employment in low and middle-income countries, as well as an in-depth understanding of research design and applied experience of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to explain complex concepts in a concise and simple manner. The willingness and ability to travel overseas at short notice is essential for this role.
