Main tasks:
As member of the Sustainability & Communications Department, the position will consist in implementing together with the A.I.S.E. team the Communications strategy to help gain wider recognition for the sector in areas such as sustainability, health, product safety and innovation vis à vis stakeholders with whom A.I.S.E. and its members interact (European Institutions, related industries, NGOs etc), but also, vis-à-vis the public at large.
More specifically she/he will be in charge of corporate communications, internal communications and consumer engagement campaigns, including:
- Corporate communications and copywriting: Contribute to the development of the image and corporate profiling of A.I.S.E.. Produce official A.I.S.E. publications (e.g. Annual A.I.S.E. Activity and Sustainability report, website texts, position papers & press releases), in coordination with the relevant issue managers.
- Website management and maintenance: Secure the adequate update and maintenance of websites in particular the corporate A.I.S.E. website www.aise.eu, the internal members’ portal and newsletter. Development of a social media strategy.
- Consumer engagement campaigns: Develop and implement, jointly with the network of National Associations and companies, A.I.S.E.’s campaigns to promote the safe and sustainable use of detergent products by consumers. This includes the relevant maintenance of the industry consumer web portal www.cleanright.eu, but also the daily management of specific multi-stakeholder campaigns such as www.keepcapsfromkids.eu or www.iprefer30.eu .
- Overall support to external relations activities: press office work, media relations, stakeholder engagement, representation in external congresses, coordination of work with communications agencies, etc.
Qualifications:
• Graduate
• Native English speaker with ideally a good knowledge of French
• Excellent writing and communications skills ; ability to communicate scientific issues to the public
• Demonstrate proven ability in a communication or external relations role (minimum of 3 years experience, preferably at EU level)
• Ability to deal with industry-related topics, particularly in the areas of health, consumer affairs and sustainable development
• Team player, with an open and international mind set
• Competent in IT office packages including web management tools and social media
