Job description
- Be a co-ordinator, contributor and promoter for the HSE activities both during the planning stage and during the operational phase for Mariner & Bressay;
- Contribute to building a strong value based HSE culture both internally and towards main suppliers;
- Help the Ops Manager and the Ops team during the coming preparation work prior to start up of operations to ensure good HSE focus during the planning phase;
- Assist in Development of HSE Programs related to applicable phases of the projects;
- Provide Input and oversight to UK Safety & Health reporting, set up data collation strategies for UK specific data;
- Contribute to development of Safety & health input to new Safety Case according to UK legislation for EU Directive compliance;
- Risk identification (PIMS) and risk analysis;
- Participation in Hazops and Hazids during Topside engineering and construction;
- Sim Ops activities;
- Ensure that the Steering Documention (ARIS) is correct for a UK operation and that it is being used correctly;
- Ensure a good implementation of best HSE practices internally in the M&B team and with Contractors and Service Providers;
- Follow up and be a focal point related to HSE related audits and monitoring plans;
- AllSynergy reporting (manhours & incidents etc) and follow up of HSE related incidents;
- Be a co-ordinator in relation to Emergency Preparedness plans and bridging documents towards our Contractors;
- Help to develop and deliver the Mariner & Bressay HSE related A2A actions and KPIs;
- Develop training matrix and develop training programs with M&B HSE Manager.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified;
- Working knowledge of the HSSE requirements within the UKCS regulatory regime, i.e. RIDDOR, PFEER, DCR etc. (Essential);
- Offshore or Petrochemical Maintenance/Production Operations experience is desirable;
- Previous experience as a Platform HSE advisor is desirable but not essential;
- HSSE reporting -related experience in the Oil and Gas industry or similar;
- BOSIET & Valid Offshore Medical (preferred);
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence at all levels across the organization;
- NEBOSH Diploma (desirable) / NVQ level 5;
- IT literate: Applicable database/s, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to intermediate level.
